Letter from the Editor for June Issue (Foodie)

Patti imageSummer is here and honestly, is there a better time to sit out on a patio with good food, cold drinks, and your favorite people? Here in Richardson, we’ve got plenty of places to do just that. This issue is all about celebrating the local food scene that makes our city such a fun and flavorful place to explore. Richardson is packed with flavor. From award-winning Italian to classic Texas BBQ and amazing burgers, fresh-baked croissants, and cozy coffee shops, the city offers something for everyone. Whether you’re a lifelong local or just discovering a new corner of town, we’re spotlighting some of the best bites, hidden gems, and stories behind the food that brings our community together. Food has a way of connecting us, especially in summer. It’s the season for sharing meals outside, gathering around the table, and slowing down to really enjoy the moment (and the meal). In this issue, you’ll find everything from restaurant highlights to nonprofits feeding the community to information about how to vote for your favorite restaurant, bar, dessert and so much more not just food-related in our Best of Richardson 2025 contest. We hope this magazine inspires you to try something new, support a neighborhood spot, and savor the simple joys of summer right here in Richardson.

Bon appétit!
