1. Is it free to participate? No cost for businesses to be nominated/listed.
2. How to get Ads = Exposure?  Ads on the ballot and in Richardson Life Magazine increase visibility, but don’t guarantee wins. Know more about Business kits
3. Why isn’t your nominee showing? Nominations are private until voting. The top 5 per category advance. Be Specific: For example, “John at The Watering Hole,” not just “John.”

How To:

1. 1. Nomination Period (April 1 – April 30, 2025):
      • This is your chance to nominate your favorite local businesses, people, and places in Richardson.
      • Nominations are write-ins only.
      • You can nominate once per day, per category, by visiting the Best of Richardson Ballot.
   2. Nominee Selection:
      • After the nomination period closes, the top five nominees in each category will advance to the voting round.
      • These nominees are determined by the highest number of write-in nominations received.
   3. Voting Period (May 19 – June 16, 2025):
      • Now, it’s time to vote for the finalists!

      • You can vote once per day, per category.
   4. Winners Announced:
      • The winners of the Best of Richardson 2025 will be revealed online in late August 2025.
      • They will also be featured in the August 2025 issue of Richardson Life Magazine and an Event at Richardson.
